AppVault ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our application manages your personal data and information.

1. Information We Collect

AppVault does not collect or store any personal identification information (PII) such as your name, email address, or phone number directly on our servers. All core operations of managing APK files happen entirely offline on your device.

However, we may access certain device information to provide our services:

• Installed Packages: We scan your device to list installed applications so you can backup, share, or manage them.
• Storage Access: We require access to your device's internal and external storage to find, backup, and restore APK files.
• Device State: We check your network connection for advertisement loading and crash reporting features.

2. Permissions and Their Usage

Specifically, AppVault requests the following sensitive permissions:

• MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: To scan your entire device for APK files and allow you to organize them in your local vault.
• QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES: To identify installed apps and their versions for backup and detailed analysis.
• REQUEST_INSTALL/DELETE_PACKAGES: To allow you to install previously backed up APKs or uninstall system apps directly from the interface.

3. Third-Party Services

Our app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

• Google AdMob: Used for displaying advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers to serve tailored ads.
• Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: Used to understand app performance and troubleshoot technical issues through anonymized logs.

4. Data Security

Your APK backups and vaults are stored locally on your device's filesystem. We do not upload your APK files to any cloud server or external database. You have full control over these files and can delete them at any time.

5. Children's Privacy

This application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
